One of Britain’s largest food distributors, Gama Limited was founded in 1991 by Mr Ali Sancak and Mr Olcay Yamanel. In its early years, the company started by supplying the Turkish community, and then moved on to other ethnic minorities living in London. By providing basic necessities, Gama established a pivotal place within this market. Until this day, the company is still continuing to improve, and has become one of the most important supplier to the ethnic market.

Stressing high quality standards, the firm supplies its consumers with commodities from Turkey and European markets. Its distribution network not only covers London, but, with almost 100 staff and many delivery vehicles, Gama Limited is delivering to the whole of Great Britain.
While Gama Ltd increasingly consolidates its shares of the ethnic market, it has also begun to supply solely Turkish and Mediterranean products to large store chains such as ASDA, Tesco, Morrisons, Budgens, and also the Food Manufacturing & Catering sector, which command Britain’s retail sector, and attract millions of consumers every day.

Today, from its depot in Edmonton, Gama Limited reaches millions of consumers, with dairy products from the Sutdiyari brand, cordials from the Dimes brand, Turkish delights and various sweets from the Sebahat brand, pickles and dry pulses from the Melis and Tamtad brand, and olives and varieties of pistachios from the Gama and Ebru brands. Most recently, the company added Nuh’un Ankara Pastas and Efe Raki products to its distribution list.
